In the final scene, we see Salim and the choice he makes - filling the bathtub with money, etc. Why does he make this choice?
Salim knew that the other gansgters were about to kill him as soon as they notice that he gave his cell phone to Lathika, so what he does is filling the bathtub with money, maybe representing all the missernead money taht he had, all the money he made by kidnapping, mogging, stealing and killing, he wanted to redeem himself.

This film weaves together nightmare and impossible dream. What do you take away as the most important message or impression from the film?
That at the end it doesn't matter how much money you have or you earn because the only thing that remains with us is the love of the people we care of, in this movie the love between Lathika and Jamal.

  2. I agree with analee that at the end of everything, money is the least important thing. I liked that Jamal even though all the problems he had and the money he got, he continue looking for the girl he always loved, and he didn't forget her.
